Shuyin is a pre-doc project assistant in the research project “JuMp!” (https://www.angstfreimobil.at/jump-das-neue-projekt/). JuMp! focuses on Vienna’s (sub-)urban youth and their use of public transport. The goal is to understand the role technology plays in (sub-)urban youth mobility, and to use participatory design & speculative design to help shaping a car-free urban future.
Shuyin is also a game developer & designer. Her game-related work focuses on (reflective) game design and game-based learning in higher education. She holds a master’s degree in Media and Human-centered Computing from TU Wien, and a bachelor’s degree in Sinology from University of Vienna.
